gbi welcomes Frédéric Dufour

Montreal, July 18, 2024 - We are very pleased to announce the arrival of Frédéric Dufour at gbi, where he will occupy the new position of Senior Director, Energy and Industrial, starting August 5. With more than 22 years of experience in the fields of renewable energy, petrochemicals, natural resources and industry, Frédéric also brings valuable expertise in the management of major multidisciplinary projects.

Before joining gbi, Frédéric successfully managed projects in the heavy industry, chemicals, energy, oil and gas sectors. His remarkable career includes significant achievements as program director and major projects, where he contributed to the success of numerous regional and international initiatives.

More recently, he distinguished himself by his leadership in the execution of innovative projects for the production of biogas and the valorization of organic materials. His strategic vision and commitment to sustainable development have been catalysts for the successful implementation of feasibility studies in the areas of green hydrogen, biofuels and various green processes.

His experience leading major projects makes him an important asset for engineering, procurement and construction management (EPCM) projects. He masters the IAC, IAGC, PMC, IPD project execution models to name the main ones. His experience also extends to the design of large-scale power systems, which strengthens our ability to innovate and meet diverse energy needs.
