Centre Bell Lighting

gbi’s participation in this project involved energy calculations and grant applications. This project increased the Centre Bell’s lighting from 104 metal halide fixtures (171.6 kW in total) to 130 fixtures (82.7 kW in total). In addition to increasing the lighting level from 1500 to 2000 lux, the new LED fixtures resulted in a 63% savings over the old fixtures. This reduction was made possible thanks to the cross effect on the cooling compressors, among other things.
