Construction of Fire Station 5 in Laval

The station, which can accommodate 11 firefighters per shift, contains ten garage doors and a communal living space for firefighters located on the mezzanine. The visitors’ parking lot features electric vehicle charging stations. The project also includes a stormwater collection system with retention basins. Furthermore, the development plans also included the coordination of geothermal wells and the excavation and backfilling work associated with it. The two-storey building received LEED Gold certification.
