The “Jardins Angora” project in Terrebonne is an urban residential complex surrounded by nature and green spaces and occupying an area of over 2,000,000 ft2. The project has residential tower blocks and housing in the form of townhouses and triplexes. This area serves around 2,000 detached, tower, semi-detached and townhouse housing units.
An urban residential development project surrounded by nature.
The project required the construction of three roundabouts, a collector road and a residential road. The towers have indoor parking. The stormwater management concept is designed to continue supplying the wetland at the centre of the project. Infiltration swales located alongside each street were designed to supply the water table, in order to maintain its current level while recharging the wetland. The swales were designed with materials with a high infiltration potential, and the excess water is channelled to the wetland after having flowed into the settling basin, in order to minimize sediment input into the wetlands.
