Redevelopment of Ahuntsic Park - Pond Sector

In order to regain adequate water quality for the pond, it was proposed to transform the fountain into a waterfall and add a water recirculation system which would pass through surface and sub-surface marshes. The integration of plants therefore has a technical and aesthetic benefit. The project also includes components to meet city regulations regarding stormwater management, through the use of existing basins as bioretention basins.
