The Voltige Development

Created by gbi, which provided services in mechanical, electrical and civil engineering, Voltige consists of 210 apartments over 27 floors, as well as two underground parking levels and commercial spaces on the first floor. gbi’s extensive expertise was leveraged for the integration of a forced-air heating system for the apartments and a central domestic hot water production system, as well as the addition of an LED lighting system with motion detectors to improve the building’s energy efficiency.

Located in the Ahuntsic-Cartierville neighborhood, the Voltige development is in a transit-oriented development (TOD) area. It is within walking distance of the Ahuntsic train station (300 metres) and is very close to the Chabanel station and several bus stops.

Consisting of 5 separate phases, three of which are being undertaken by gbi, Voltige is an integrated real-estate development that includes rental apartments as well as commercial and office spaces. Voltige was designed with a vision that places modern residential spaces alongside small shops and services, emerging businesses, recreational spaces, parks and nature, in the heart of a neighborhood known for its unparalleled quality of life. 

PANORA: Phase 1

The Panora tower will offer rental condominiums and penthouses. The project will include several indoor and outdoor common areas, such as an urban chalet, a gym, a pool, a relaxation area, a community garden and a rooftop terrace. A 16,000 sq. ft. shopping centre will be located on the main floor, containing a pharmacy, coffee shop, a dry-cleaning business, a bank and a bakery/pastry shop.

Residential tower with 243 apartments over 21 floors, including two underground parking levels with a surface area of 349,050 sq. ft., businesses and common spaces. 

ARIA: third phase

Residential tower with 199 units spread over 19 floors, including 2 underground parking basements with an area of ​​271,058ft2, in addition to shops and common areas.
