Construction of a Primary School in Manawan
As part of the construction of a future primary school in Manawan, gbi was tasked by the Atikamekw Band Council of Manawan with producing a Phase 1 environmental site assessment report including recommendations for environmental concerns, as well as an ecological study report including a map delineating the wetlands for the study site.

An unusual
field study
What set this project apart was the natural condition of the study site, mainly due to its biological diversity, abundant wetlands, surface area and density. Given the lack of previous environmental studies assigned to the site, we were able to carry out this assignment with the collaboration of the members of the Atikamekw Band Council.
