New aquatic complex in Beaupré, including a 25-meter, 4-lane pool, a recreational pool, an indoor and outdoor water play area for children, and universal changing rooms. This building adheres to LEED criteria and utilizes geothermal energy for pool water heating, as well as air cooling and heating.
The available space was a constraint, and the project was carefully studied to deliver an interesting layout. The building is constructed over a significant water source, and measures have been taken into account.
The building's height was considered in relation to its connection to the existing community center while respecting universal accessibility. The project includes a geothermal field and eco-energy systems.
This project integrates into an enchanting environment at the foot of Mount Sainte-Anne, well-known for alpine skiing. Therefore, there is a strong connection with nature. Surrounded by residences, the aquatic complex facilities have been installed in a way that there is no noticeable noise, which harmonizes with the existing structures.
