Working together to envision tomorrow’s world.
We believe in our employee’s ability to help us create a world rooted in our values of continuous innovation, responsible management and sustainable development.
The University of Montreal Hospital Research Centre (CRCHUM) relies on 1,300 people active in the following research themes: cancer, cardiometabolics, infection, immunity, inflammation, musculoskeletal diseases, neuroscience, health risks, global health and health care systems and services.
Performance that exceeds expectations
gbi estimates a 28% reduction in energy usage compared to the Model National Energy Code for Buildings/MNECB’s reference building.
This centre includes a cyclotron to produce the isotopes required for research protocols. The installation of redundant mechanical and electrical equipment, in addition to the implementation of vibration measures, are also important features of the project.
Devised in PPP mode with a 40-month construction schedule, the CRCHUM was designed gradually. gbi provided engineering services in the mechanical and electrical fields, in addition to producing preliminary studies and all the plans, and providing construction and LEED support services.
We believe in our employee’s ability to help us create a world rooted in our values of continuous innovation, responsible management and sustainable development.
