A prestigious building

with optimized energy consumption

The six-storey tower has a total area of 143,700ft2. It features 115,000ft2 of office space (of which floors 4 to 6 are open plan), a 5,400ft2 daycare centre, as well as 5,400ft2 of shops and common areas, all with a centralized system and a mechanical-electrical room.

Furthermore, the project features an inspiring agora and a prestigious conference hall.

Innovation and challenges

Performance that exceeds expectations

gbi estimates a 28% reduction in energy usage compared to the Model National Energy Code for Buildings/MNECB’s reference building.

This centre includes a cyclotron to produce the isotopes required for research protocols. The installation of redundanmechanical and electrical equipment, in addition to the implementation of vibration measures, are also important features of the project.

Working hand-in-hand for tomorrow’s world

Devised in PPP mode with a 40-month construction schedule, the CRCHUM was designed gradually. gbi provided engineering services in the mechanical and electrical fields, in addition to producing preliminary studies and all the plans, and providing construction and LEED support services.

Working together to envision tomorrow’s world.

We believe in our employee’s ability to help us create a world rooted in our values of continuous innovation, responsible management and sustainable development.
